Ever since God opened my eyes to His Word, I have been digging voraciously into all that I could study on doctrine. Writing always helps in refining my knowledge and articulating my thoughts in a clear manner. Most of the time whenever we think of anything (including non-doctrinal issues) we might just have a nebulous or clouded feeling about it. But writing about it always helps us to crystallize our thoughts and put it down in verbal form. This enables us to know what we are thinking about, and think more clearly about it. Feelings and emotions come and go with the wind. They do not always make a lasting impression on our minds. But writing our thoughts down and expressing them in the form of propositions helps us to think syllogistically and avoid fallacious reasoning.
Writing has always helped me grow spiritually since I understand a given topic more comprehensively when I study and research theological texts and commentaries. And when I write it down, it enables me to grasp the topic more firmly. In other words, I know what I am thinking and talking about when I write it down (or express it in the form of propositions).
That is the purpose of this blog: to chronicle my thoughts and to encourage fellow brethren in the truth.
